⁃ Mindset: determines the feedback and interpretation in your life
⁃ Your mindset determines what you see
⁃ Mindset determines whether you will fail or succeed
⁃ Your mindset presets the reality – the truth that becomes your reality
⁃ Blindness: inability to see, visual impairment
⁃ e.g. Blind man came to Jesus – Jesus made mud and placed it on his eyes – vision partially repaired – distortion in his sight
⁃ Blind people still rely on other senses – someone who can’t see can still use other senses to see – to make sense of things
⁃ Mind blindness – functioning of the eyes, but little or no perception of God’s power
⁃ Mind blindness can cause someone to become intellectually incapacitated
⁃ You don’t receive unless you perceive
⁃ Mind blindness of the unbeliever – they cannot see the power of word

⁃ Unbelievers cannot enter into the things of God
⁃ Unbelievers don’t understand what it means to receive Christ
⁃ Mind blindness causes those who have it to perish because it looks like it’s not fair but it is determined by a choice
⁃ 2 Corinthians 3:14-16
⁃ Our God is the God of heaven and the creator of earth
⁃ There is a system operating on the earth that is not the system of God – prince of the world
⁃ In the case of the unbelieving – the God of the world has blinded them
⁃ The veil is taken away in Christ
⁃ When a man turns to the Lord the big veil is removed
⁃ When God removes the veil when someone becomes a Christian there are some veils remaining that are personalised veils – the conditioner veils
⁃ The Christian is not going to be as effective as they can be
⁃ How does this personalised veil get taken off?
⁃ When the Old Testament is being bred – carnality, flesh etc. The personalised blindness
⁃ Personalised veil is peeled off gradually
⁃ A Christian can still have veils
⁃ Spend time in the Spirit
⁃ Spend time in the Word
⁃ Spend time fellowshipping
⁃ Powers that God broke over their lives returning again
⁃ You’re not regressing in the mighty and all powerful name of Jesus
⁃ What are the things that can cause a Christian to have mind blindness?
⁃ – religiosity
⁃ – prior knowledge
⁃ – deceitfulness or sin (Hebrews 3:13-15)
⁃ – ignorance – not spending time to learn
⁃ – itchiness of ears
⁃ – carnality – wanting to hear lies
⁃ – indulgence – these people don’t want us to sleep
⁃ Reality is found in Jesus Christ
⁃ The bible says believe God and believe God’s prophets
⁃ How do you get rid of mind blindness?
⁃ – Turn to the Lord
⁃ – The Holy Spirit is the one who takes the veil from your eyes
⁃ For you to remain with Christ sometimes the steps are inconveniencing
⁃ Are you willing to come out of your comfort zone
⁃ God is also not trying to compete with the devil
⁃ God is the only omniscient and omnipotent God
⁃ The devil does not know what is going on in your mind
