Haggai 1:10 ¹⁰ Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit.

• Do not drop what God asked you to do
• Nobody is worth it

David and Zerubbabel left their post and it was not worth it.

Zerubbabel

• Haggai 1:1-11 describes the case of Zerubbabel
• Zerubbabel left his “post” of rebuilding the temple and God brought drought
• When returning to the his post, God blessed him again

David

• 2 Samuel 6 describes the case of David and the Ark
• David refused to listen to God and did not bring the Ark, instead giving it to Obed-Edom
• David left his “post”
• Obed-Edom got blessed, when David heard it he returned to his Post

Our Prayer

• We pray that you do not leave the Post God assigned to you
• The Lord shall give you the strength to carry out your assignment
