Acts 9:4-5 4 and he fell to the ground and heard a voice [from heaven] saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting and oppressing Me?” 5 And Saul said, “Who are You, Lord?” And He answered, “I am Jesus whom you are persecuting,
Exodus 14:14 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
Fighting God – Example of Saul
- Saul was meant to destroy the work of God
- For that work of atrocity he was praised by the local government
- Saul thought he is getting away
- But God stepped him and told him that he prosecutes HIM (Acts 9:4-5)
- Finally he lost the fight against God and God overturned Saul into the Author of 1/3 of the New Testament
Are believers fighting God and how does God respond?
- Those who are not succeeding , are resisting God’s way
- But God does never forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6, Psalms 27:12)
Can fighting God succeed?
- If you fight God’s plan you will NOT succeed
What if we do not fight God’s plan
- Isaiah 49:25: God will content those who have evil plans against you.
- God will overturn evil plans with blessings
Our prayer for you
- Your life will be used to celebrate the Glory of God
- Let your situation be conform to God’s will
- Let God work in your situation
- Every seed of the enemy will not germinate
- Exodus 14:14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace
