1 Samuel 30:8-15 ⁸ So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?”

Consequences of not asking God for direction

• Esther 6: Hanan presumed, did not ask God
• Joshua 7: Joshua presumed that the City of Ai is  an easy target

Ask God in any situation

• Engage God in decision making and he will help you
• Ask God “What shall I do” and you will get instructions for success
• God will discern strategies to you
• Overcome things why you would not consult God like: pride, peer pressure, emotions etc.
